NSString – Split/Check specific char

Split: 

NSArray* foo = [@"10/04/2011" componentsSeparatedByString: @"/"];
NSString* day = [foo objectAtIndex: 0];

Check specific char:

NSString *string = @"hello bla bla";
if ([string rangeOfString:@"bla"].location == NSNotFound) {
  NSLog(@"string does not contain bla");
} else {
  NSLog(@"string contains bla!");
}

AlertView Button enable

    - (BOOL)alertViewShouldEnableFirstOtherButton:(UIAlertView *)alertView
    {
       return ([[[alertView textFieldAtIndex:0] text] length]>0)?YES:NO;
    }
